Danish Centre for AI Innovation (DCAI) A/S was established by the Novo Nordisk Foundation and the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO) in collaboration with NVIDIA. Our purpose is to accelerate AI research and innovation across all organisations and industries. DCAI is majority owned by the Novo Nordisk Foundation and minority owned by EIFO.
Meet Nadia Carlsten, our CEO
Dr. Nadia Carlsten is the CEO of the Danish Center for AI Innovation (DCAI), where she oversees Gefion, Denmark’s first AI supercomputer. With extensive leadership experience, she has driven innovation strategy and product development at top tech companies, including at SandboxAQ and AWS, where she led quantum and AI initiatives. Nadia has a strong track record of managing large-scale public-private technology programs and advising on global tech policy. She holds a PhD in Engineering from UC Berkeley.
